1130North: Arrest - Battery on Police Officer / O&R / Harassment @1000 block Carlin Street

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance and observed the suspect outside the victims residence in possession of knife. As they were taking the suspect into custody he began to resist and punched an Officer in the face. Anthony Shepard, DOB 12/14/1981, was arrested on the above charges.

1834North : Arrest - Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, Box Cutter / ADW / PCS / Poss. Drug Paraphernalia @2000 block Northtown Lane

The victims attempted to stop the suspect from leaving without paying for merchandise when the suspect produced a box cutter and threatened them before fleeing. The suspect was located a short time later and Lewis Favata, DOB 7/15/1974, was arrested on the above charges.

Monday, November 27, 2023
0730Central: Arrest - Battery@South Sierra Street & Island Ave.

The suspect was upset with the victim for being asked to move out of the area so the suspect threw an unknown liquid at the victim. Melody Allen, 5/2/1967, was arrested on the above charge.

1100Central: ADW, Firearm@East 6th Street & Morrill Ave.

The victim reported that she was walking in the area when the suspect vehicle approached and the driver fired several rounds in her direction. There were no reported injuries, the suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

1208South: ADW, Firearm@500 block Gentry Way

The subject exited his vehicle and approached the employees, demanding to pick up auto parts but the victims explained they had no idea what he was talking about. After a brief verbal altercation the subject returned to the vehicle and as he was driving away the passenger produced a gun and threatened the victims. The suspect is described as: H/M/A, mid twenties, light facial hair, LSW all black. The suspect vehicle is described as: Blue GMC Yukon Denali with chrome wheels.

1645North: Arrest - ADW Shooting, Pursuit, PSMV, Eluding, ADW (Firearm), Discharge Firearm from Vehicle, PCS, EPO Violation, Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person@395/Golden Valley

Officers responded to a call about a stolen vehicle. Officers detained the driver and passenger and later arrested the driver. Juan Loyola-Liera, DOB 1/13/1994, was arrested on the above charges.

1218North: Shots call @900 block South University Park Loop

Officers responded to a report of a gun shot being heard and located a casing. There were no reported injuries and the investigation is ongoing.

1306South: Arrest -Child Abuse@1000 block Riley Ave

Michelle Corona-Vasques, DOB 4/10/1993, was arrested on the above charge.

1919South: DOP / Bullet Strike@2000 block Plumas Street

The victim returned home to find a bullet strike on a wall inside his residence. There were no reported injuries and the investigation is ongoing.

1934South: Arrest - Robbery / ADW, Rock / Poss. of Burglary Tools@5000 block Meadowood Mall Circle.

The victim had attempted to stop the suspect from leaving without paying for merchandise. When the suspect pushed the victim out of the way this lead to a physical altercation. The suspect then threated the victim with a rock. Richard Ruiz, DOB 7/13/1983, was arrested on the above charges.
